Bio: Dr Tristan Chong is an Associate Professor and Area Head of Marketing
at the SP Jain School of Global Management (Singapore Campus). His research
interests are in the areas of digital marketing, marketing analytics and
topological data analysis and applications. His work has been published in
various high-tier journals including Tourism Management (ABDC=A*), Journal
of Marketing Management (ABDC=A), International Journal of Production
Research (ABDC=A), Industrial Management & Data Systems (ABDC=A) and top
management and information systems conferences such as PACIS and AOM.
Tristan is a Visiting Scholar at the National University of Singapore;
Deakin University, Australia; Heriot Watt University, UK; and South
University of Science and Technology of China. Recently, he has been
appointed as Associate Editor to the Industrial Management & Data Systems
(ABDC=A journal).
Tristan was a TEDx speaker and he has successfully delivered many external
guest lectures/invited talks/executive education to more than 1000 students
from well reputable international companies (e.g. Caterpillar, IBM, Giant,
China Railway Construction Corporation) and top-tiers international
universities/business schools (e.g. National University of Singapore,
Singapore Management University, Manchester University, UK, EDHEC Business
School, France) on various IT and business topics. Tristan has worked on
many marketing projects with various organisations in Australia, China and
Singapore.
